Tomorrow’s Equestrian Center

About Tomorrow’s Equestrian Center (TEC):

TEC is a non-profit, therapeutic riding program providing services to the North Central Florida area, including Marion County, Levy County, Citrus County, and Alachua County. The program is offered at a nominal fee, or free to those unable to pay.

Its mission is to provide recreational and therapeutic riding to physically, mentally, and emotionally disabled individuals. To promote community awareness of the advantage and benefits of therapeutic riding. Tomorrow’s Equestrian Center provides therapeutic riding programs to disabled children and adults ages five years and above.

All instructors are certified through the Professional Associaton of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) formerly known as the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA). This program is conducted and run by dedicated volunteers. All Board members, officers, horse handlers, side walkers, parents, and numerous others donate their time and efforts to Tomorrow’s Equestrian Center.

Big Lick Gives Supports Tomorrow’s Equestrian Center

We believe in the value of the work conducted by the volunteers at TEC, and the benefit of therapeutic riding for those in need. TEC is currently involved in building a new barn that will include a feed room, tack room, wash rack, offices, bathrooms, and a student activity room.

The Big Lick Gives Charity Committee voted to support TEC in its effort to build a new barn in May of 2022. The grant through the Nagle Family Charitable Fund was applied towards the completion of the office, bathroom, and student activity area. We are excited to help TEC continue to serve the physically, mentally, and emotionally disabled individuals in our community.

New barn construction begins!
