Alachua Conservation Trust

The mission of Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) is to protect the natural, historic, scenic and recreational resources in and around North Central Florida. ACT protects land through purchase, donation, and conservation easements in 22 counties including Marion.
Since our founding in 1988, ACT has facilitated the conservation of 66,600 acres, directly acquired 27,000 acres, owns and operates several preserves open to the public on 6,328 acres, and has assisted landowners with easements on 7,046 acres of private land.

The Big Lick Gives Committee was pleased to donate to Alachua Conservation Trust.
