The committee at Big Lick Gives was pleased to donate towards Horses N Heros in 2024 and again in 2025.
Horses N Heroes is dedicated to providing an equine learning and mentoring experience for young girls who come from families with extreme financial constraints. There is no fee for participating in the program.
The girls are provided with the opportunity to bond with horses and each other. Through this experience they gain self-esteem, a sense of responsibility, the understanding of teamwork and a strong extracurricular that can benefit their long term growth.
